What is new?

Soon, users will be able to send themselves notes, messages, files, and images/videos in a Microsoft Teams chat. The process of sending yourself a personal chat message will be the same as sending one to another team member. When available, you will be able to open a new chat, enter your name, and type the message to send.

What are the benefits?

This feature update will help users stay organised and quickly take notes without leaving the Microsoft Teams application. The ability to “chat” with yourself provides an alternative way of storing important notes. This feature also ensures the content is searchable and persistent within Microsoft chat.

What is Microsoft Teams?
